Sorry everyone, it was a memory related issue. Apparently my .htaccess and php.ini file were placed in the wrong place. Not sure why this suddenly happened this month though; I don't remember making any changes to them..

it looks like for phone mobile we are using location type id = 2 rather than using phone_type_id in the upgrade script. we should fix this (IMO)

I think my general problem is that civi uses wysiwyg (or just a textarea) to generate html on the input... then nothing happens...

Yeps, i was using the copy from word button

Ckeditor has a option "Paste from word". Are you using that option, if not you should try that.
